doctor who scene :calling the doctor

1) Pick three camera shots from the Doctor Who scene and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience.

Camera shots and angle from doctor who

1)close up

-In the close up  shot in  the start of 0.45 to 0.46 the doctor is saying something important which indicates how close it is. She is talking to the people in the video chat that the  SUBWAVE (weapon) is undectable and that to the other people in the video chat. I have noticed it in  in shot 0.45 seconds.

2)Over the shoulder shot

In this over the shoulder shot in 0.56 is showing the audience the background of the doctors place to show where she is . she is talking to the people in  the video chat of a serious situation .in this shot we can see  more than computer indicating she is talking while doing  trying to know where is the problem off the sub wave is and how to stop it. This is done to show the audience more about what the doctor is doing.

2) Pick one camera angle that is used in the scene and explain the effect it has on the audience.

In this image, the low angle use in this shot is shown to ,make the image to make it look big and powerful .This image is really colourful which makes the view  stand out and to show or create tension for the audience that something is happening .

3) Pick one aspect of mise-en-scene from the scene and explain what connotations are being communicated to the audience.

Makeup and hair -  The male has blue eyes, hazelnut hair and has a black jacket. He looks a little bit of American. So does the girl, she has black hair and a white tone of skin . They are figuring out something which is really important information for the audience. Their appearance also makes the audience satisfied with who they are.
